Peter Lorimer has worked in the prestige and performance car trade since 1979, when he started his apprenticeship at Carlaw Cars Jaguar dealership. He then moved to the current main Jaguar dealership, where he was involved with repairs to Jaguar, Rover and Landrover. After that he moved to the main Glasgow Porsche franchise where he played a key role in repairing the Porsches of the time. Lorimer & Findlay were established in 1987 and since then have repaired cars over a very broad spectrum, from a 1925 Lagonda to a 1963 series 1 e type rebuild, to a 1965 Aston db5 rebuild all the way to servicing Lotus Exiges and BMW m5's.
